The dial, overall, is exceptionally legible…

The size of the small seconds hand is perfect, the numbers are easy to read, and it is uncluttered. As others have noted, including Tony, it takes, perhaps an extra second to make sure you are reading the time correctly, But, the cushion case, the size of

You are correct

It does wear largely. Listed 41 but being cushion it is larger on the wrist. For me the strap, it is almost a double thick strap, caused it to be less comfortable at first. Once it has worn in, much better. Thinking of getting an Alcantara one maybe to se

Yes, 1921 is 36,5 mm

For me the sizes 36 and 36,5 are just perfect. I’m very old fashioned with the watch sizes. My father had an Omega in 33 mm. As a matter of fact 1921 36,5 mm looks much bigger as it is cushion shaped. I love the movement in 1955. It is a pleasure to wind

I see what you mean. I think its because the lug seem very short maybe compared to other 40mm case you might have.

This will sound crazy but i think the stiffness of your strap is likely not helping. I remember trying this series on my wrist at a dealer and got the same feeling mostly due to the strap being so stiff. I would think if you tie your watch on one of your

Members of the forum, is there anyone interested in collecting vintage V&C produced in 1920s——pre 1940s

1. tonneau shape , rectangular shape , cushion shape ,etc. Wearing these watches is very personal. 2. Because of the low yield and the long history in this period, It's hard to find the same one. 3. The beautiful movements, tonneau, rectangular, are rarel

Unique

Its a unique piece. I have seen it on a picture once but never in the metal. I am personally not a big fan of open worked watches but I do recognize the incredible craftsmanship that goes in. Just look at the barrel which has that engraved Maltezer Cross

A warm welcome to the forum ! If you like the cushon shape, then you should consider it seriously !

Although cushion shape is not as popular as the traditional round cases, this selection is a very personal choice. The movement is definitely very good and THIN ! Let us know your decision and look forward to your wrist shots !

Never forget

Ill never forget the day I saw it in the boutique. The manager showed it to me and I didn’t like it. She insisted I should try it on coz gueranteed it would be different. Tried it on more to please her than anything else. The moment I had it on my wrist I
